The dinosaurs disappearance causes is not

a catastrophe

French version

The dinosaurs extinction causes  at the KT limit (Cretaceous/Tertiary) gave rise to many catastrophic theories of which most known is the theory of Alvarez of the crater of impact in Chicxulub. The probabilistic model challenges the theory of the crater of impact as the dinosaurs death causes. Many other catastrophic models of the causes of the end of the dinosaurs were proposed. They all remain more or less speculative.

A probabilistic evolution model, a post-darwinian model,  disputes these models, most of the time without factual bases and proposes the probabilistic influence of biochemistry of calcium as a natural cause of radiations then of disappearance, at the border of the Cretaceous, of the dinosaurs and innumerable organisms    .

Many facts validating this proposal and the selective character of the mass extinctions are provided.

The probabilistic biological evolution is integrated within the general framework of a probabilistic model of the universe where the chance, defined as a factor of probability, is proposed as the underlying factor of the order and the organization of all the phenomena, physics, biological, cosmological, etc..., on all the scales:
